This was made known by a tweep. The tweet narrated How a man from CMS ganga district in Eastern Uganda is nursing a wound after fighting a lion he met near his home . 

According to the tweet, the man killed the lion he met near his home after fighting it. 

Dead lion

From the pictures released, it can be seen that the man sustained serious injuries which comprised his look.
